Ceramics

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, surrounded by the pageantry of color, sound, and diversity that defines Brazilian culture—all under the blessing of Christ the Redeemer.
Each of my ceramic pieces is meant to be unlike any other. They carry the well-worn marks of their making, often with textured surfaces adorned by found objects once discarded by the world but given new purpose in my hands. I see beauty rediscovered in obscurity. Mistakes have made me stronger, determination has carried me forward, but it is care that shapes my work. Ceramics, to me, are the product of a caring potter’s hand—just as life itself is the creation of The Master Potter. In both, beauty lies in imperfection.
