45th Annual Juried Show

     Call to Artists

The Fountain Hills Art League cordially invites all area artists to participate in our 45th Annual Juried Art Show. You do not have to be a Juried Artist to participate. The show began in 1980, originally held in a tent at the Fountain. Now we display the art of our local talent at the Fountain Hills Community Center for the month of January.

 

This year registration and credit card payment will take place on the official website of the FH Art League, www.artinfh.com. Registration opens on October 15 and runs until December 18, 2025. The cost is $50.00 (non-refundable) for up to 2 entries. 

 

Categories include:

 

-  Drawings: Charcoal, Pencil, Ink, Pastel

-  Paintings: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor

-  Photography and Digital Art

-  Sculpture, glass, ceramics, fiber art, beaded art, jewelry, wood, metal, other

    Mixed Media

 

Criteria for entries: (We reserve the right of acceptance)

 

• Artwork must be original, no reproductions and be recent (within last three years)

• Artwork must not have shown at this venue before

• Photos used in preparing the work must be your own

• Art must be appropriate for this public venue (i.e., non-political, no nudity)

• Flat art must be gallery wrap or framed

• Flat artwork must have a wire on the back for hanging or fit in the glass cabinets at the end of the ballroom hallway.

• Heavy or large pieces may require hanging by artist

 

Please deliver all artwork to the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N La Montana Dr, Fountain Hills, AZ on January 7, 2026 between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. Extra forms will be available at drop off if you cannot print out the forms but you must pre-register and pay to participate in this event.

 

New this year, we have added the opportunity to submit an Artist Statement of 100 words or less when you register for the show. This can be a brief description of your medium, the inspiration for your piece or other interesting information about your work. We will display this with your art.

 

You may upload digital images of your entries when you register online. Your artwork will be displayed on our website for one year. We recommend that you watermark your work for protection.

Winners will also be showcased on the website.

All Artwork must be picked up on Thursday, January 28 or Friday,

January 29, 2026. Please note that the Community Center closes at 4:00 PM on Friday.
